Located in the Loire Valley and nestled in one of its wild meanders, between the mysterious expanses of Sologne and the vast Orléans Forest, the Gîte du Cheval Rouge proves to be a haven of peace for riders and their noble steeds. It is situated on the renowned "European Equestrian Route of D'Artagnan", offering riders the opportunity to cross the Loire River peacefully via the bridge at Châteauneuf-sur-Loire, just two kilometers from Sigloy.

The Gîte du Cheval Rouge, crafted by a passionate and experienced horse rider enchanted by the allure of equestrian trekking, reveals itself as a sanctuary designed to welcome horses with the utmost care. Surrounded by rustic and rural landscapes, the Gîte du Cheval Rouge offers a tranquil spectacle that delights both owners and their horses alike.

To facilitate the logistics for riders, stakes, electric tapes, and a generator are graciously provided to create paddocks and optimize the space for accommodating horses.

An outdoor shower is available, offering riders the opportunity to refresh their horses at the end of the day. There is also an independent and secure tack room on-site, equipped with saddle racks, bridle hooks, a fountain for cleaning bits, and other equipment.

A washing machine and dryer are available for hikers.

Finally, a mounting block with three steps is provided to assist riders and horses with mounting.
